Terms of service

Last updated: [date of launch]

1. About these terms

SS Visualist is provided by [Your full legal name], a sole trader trading as SS Visualist, [postal address] ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you buy or use SS Visualist. SS Visualist is a service for businesses — cafés, restaurants, bakeries and similar venues. By paying, you confirm you're using it for your business.

2. The service

You upload photos of your dishes and venue. We create retouched, delivery-safe versions of your photos and new angles of the same dish in your venue's style, plus files sized for common platforms. New angles are created with artificial intelligence and can contain mistakes.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Plans and payment

5. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time. It stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops. We don't refund partial periods or used dishes. If a dish fails completely, we return it to your allowance automatically. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us and we'll put it right.

6. Your content

You keep all rights in the photos you upload and the images created from them, and you can use the images for any business purpose. You give us permission to store and process your photos only to provide the service. We won't use your photos to promote SS Visualist without your written permission.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep SS Visualist available but can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that significantly affects your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue or goodwill, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending your account

You can close your account by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Section 6 explains what happens to your photos; our privacy notice explains how long we keep data.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
